ClickIt’s DAY FOUR of Vacation Bible School and we are sad that it’s coming to an end. For the past few days, light refreshments are served along the path to Hungry Hippo Hideout starting from 0730 onwards. The opening rally started at 0800 with our Shuttle Bugs trekking up to Panoramic Point. Negaraku was played to instill patriotism, along with the pledges. Our dance team then performed day four song, Worthy of All Praise. Then, continuing from yesterday’s video, Kate expresses her dreams to use the money to help a village at Mozambique. She was then given a second chance at the contest which she did successfully and made it to the finals.
After the morning rally, our Shuttle Bugs learnt about Encounter at the Tomb at the Watering Holes. Today’s bible story is taken from the book of John and it focuses on Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus is alive! And our Shuttlers learnt that Jesus rose from the dead. At 0915, the Shuttle Bugs are then out to venture into the wild at various rotation sites. Ham and Cheese croissants are served at the Hungry Hippo Hideout as an energy booster to get the Shuttle Bugs through the day. At Panoramic Point, our Shuttle Bugs learnt the moves for a slow but meaningful song, Worthy of All Praise, and then continued their practice for concert day; each class having their own dance to prepare for! Moving on with crafts at Cockatoo Canopy, made their own Elephant Blowers! Hey, maybe that is how an actual elephant might sound like? Lastly our Shuttle Bugs are challenged in today’s recreation; Levitation ball, at Beluga Bay, with our Shuttlers needing to pass the drone from one end to another. At 1200, the Shuttle Bugs are brought back to their Watering Hole to reflect on what was learnt today from various rotational sites as well as Jesus’ resurrection as taught in the morning session. Then at 1230, a closing rally was held at Panoramic Point followed by dismissal at 1300. See you tomorrow on day 5 of VBS! Do check out Day 4 photos in the gallery! VBS 2019, Day 4, 28 Nov 2019.
