It’s DAY TWO of In The Wild! At 0800 hours, our Shuttle Bugs marched into Panoramic Point for their opening rally! With the national anthem, and pledges to start the morning rally, the Shuttle Bugs are introduced to a new song today, entitled; What God Has Done, performed by our dancers at Panoramic Point. Continuing from yesterday’s Daily Video, we followed Kate in her photography contest - where this round, she has to find a purple elephant!
After the morning rally, our Shuttle Bugs are brought back to their Watering Hole to learn more about Jesus. Today’s story is taken from Matthew 3:1-17, entitled; Encounter at the River. Our Wildlife Specialist (Teachers) taught us that Jesus is God’s Son and how we as His children can put our trust in Him! Then, at 0915, the Shuttle Bugs are out and away to venture into the wild at various rotation sites. At Hungry Hippo Hideout, our Shuttlers get to munch on another round of homemade dishes prepared by the Snacks Team. For today, Homemade Hippo Happy Meal is served. Then, at Panoramic Point, our Shuttle Bugs are taught on the new grooves for What God Has Done, while also worked on improving their skills to move along the beat for the Theme Song and Day One song. Other than that, at Cockatoo Canopy, the craft experts helped our Shuttle Bugs in recreating their very own wild life bag! At the same time, the Shuttle Bugs learned more about Harrells’, Mozambique Language; Jesus é o filho de Deus which means Jesus is the Son of God. Lastly at Beluga Bay, the Shuttlers enjoyed their time in venturing with flying doves, a game prepared by the recreation team! At 1200, the Shuttle Bugs are brought back to the Watering Hole to reflect on what was learnt today. Then at 1230, a closing rally was held at Panoramic Point, followed by dismissal! NOTICE: WATER GAMES ARE ON TOMORROW! BRING AN EXTRA PAIR OF CLOTHES! VBS 2019, Day 2, 26 November 2019.
